Dr Gavin Sacks
MA (Cantab) BM BCh (Ox) PhD (Ox) MRCOG CCSST (UK)
Dr Gavin Sacks is an internationally renown expert specialising in unexplained infertility. Gavin is Sam and Scott's doctor and has provided them with genuine hope to start a family.
So many couples want to have a family, and it is something we often take for granted. I have been lucky enough to have had 3 kids, and the joy of teaching them to ride bicycles is one of the best memories I have as a father. In reality though, I see in my job as an IVF specialist, that the problems of infertility and repeated miscarriage can be heartbreaking, especially when friends are succeeding and it is difficult to be open about it. The Bonnie Babes Foundation is there to provide support for those couples, but that in turn is dependent on us all contributing. And this bike ride, inspiring young people to look outside the box, is a wonderful way to increase awareness and encourage support. Well done and good luck!
